URGENT! NAME MY NEW “BABY,” BOOK 2

Friends,

I’m editing a BRAND NEW book that’s nearly “born” but has no name. This “Book 2” follows my 2014 memoir, “Growing Green Two Ways!” Many of you have read “GGTW!” Now I solicit your input of a name for “Book 2.” Let me tell you what it’s about.

“Book 2” is for adult readers interested in how travel in one’s early years can shape one’s life. I detail my September, 1960-61 (March) epic spiritual journey from Seattle to Liberia via the U.K., France, Germany, Switzerland, the Republic of Guinea, Sierra Leone and the Republic of Liberia. Pastors, missionaries,believers and a criminal or two hosted me and providing amazing experiences. You will meet them all.

What happened during those months abroad?  In a phrase, my life plan was changed. I reshaped my future ministry, rejecting a dogmatic approach and affirming Jesus’ servant ministry plus attention to values and ethics. This forced a change in my plans for theological education and ministry, leading ultimately to a teaching and administrative career. If you wonder how travel can shape a life you will like this story.

In order to take the trip I had to take a “leave of absence” from the woman I’d been courting. She’s part of the story too.

Now, what title should I give to this book? Currently, I’m considering these title, “Straying Home” and “Wandering Home”.  I’m interested in any naming help you want to give.
