WHY SO MANY AMERICANS THANK NANCY PELOSI

 A REASON TO BE THANKFUL for a PELOSI, THE POLITICAL LEADER

 

As we in the U.S.A. approach Thanksgiving Day, 2022, one for whom we can all be thankful comes to mind:  Nancy Pelosi.  She’s stepping down as Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States.

 

Ms. Pelosi has been in office for years and served as Speaker of the House during the Obama era as well as today.

I admire what she’s done as Speaker for many reasons.  One is her support of Obamacare, the federal legislation that made medical care, particularly the cost of medical prescriptions, affordable for more retired people.  As a retiree myself, I have to purchase prescriptions for eleven medications.  I can afford my medications, thanks to Obamacare and other legislation.

 

Ms. Pelosi is only one of many women who are serving as political leaders.  They bring a certain grace to political life.  I’m delighted that many women have been elected to political office in recent years.

  

P.S.  I personally Nancy Pelosi should run for President of the U.S.A. in 2024.  I think she'd trump him.
